HP Officejet J4660 Printer Driver. The Officejet J4660 is similar to the J6480. Most of the case is in dark slate gray, with the sides and control panel coated in muted tones of white and silver. With dimensions of 44 x 40 x 22 centimeters (width times depth x height) and a weight of 5.9 kilos, the printer takes up very little space. The main reason for the small footprint is the removable output tray. But the output tray serves as a paper feed and thus the printouts end up almost directly on the blank paper, with only two small plastic guides separating the two compartments. The paper feeder holds only 100 sheets of plain paper (the Officejet J6480 holds 250 sheets), and another 20 sheets can be placed in the automatic document feeder at the top of the printer. The control panel occupies much of the front of the J4660. It consists of a numeric keypad for entering fax numbers, a small two-line LCD, a navigation pad, a Wi-Fi toggle button, and some direct access buttons (power button, cancel button, backspace, and OK button). There is also an LED that lights up green or red depending on the printer status.

Navigating the menus of the LCD display is somewhat tricky due to the horizontal arrangement, but access to the various functions (faxing, copying, scanning, printing) soon becomes flesh and blood. Also useful are the instructions that appear on the LCD when you spend a long time on an item. Looking for a card reader or a USB port in vain, the top of the printer can be folded up to access the flatbed scanner with a resolution of 1200 dpi. The contact surface in DIN A4 format is sufficient for media of all sizes. If the document to be scanned is too thick, or if it is not evenly on the scanner, difficulties arise because the lid is not provided with flexible hinges. The scanned document can then be saved directly as a graphic file, PDF file or Word document or sent by e-mail. Since there is no reader, the result can not be transferred directly to a memory card. The copy function is also pretty straightforward. You can adjust the copy to the paper size, enlarge or reduce the copy, change the output quality to save ink, and make the copy lighter or darker than the original. With the HP can make up to 100 copies at once, but you have to fill in between the paper supply.
